The head of this proud family is Marlene Newcombe (nee Wyer), who has been in business on the peninsula for 57 years and started in a wrecking yard at the age of 18. Marlene simple loves living on the Redcliffe Peninsula and the ‘country town’ feel you get when walking down the street. She enjoys dining or having a coffee at the local cafes and restaurants, and knowing everyone’s name as they pass you in the street.
