The X-TRAIL Ti e-POWER uses Nissan’s e-POWER system, featuring a 1.5-litre three-cylinder variable-compression turbo petrol engine, electric powertrain and lithium-ion battery. The petrol engine generates electricity, while the wheels are driven by electric motors, providing an EV-like driving experience without the need to plug in and recharge.

The e-POWER system produces a total system output of 157kW, with 150kW from the front electric motor and 100kW from the rear electric motor. Maximum torque is 330Nm at the front and 195Nm at the rear.

Nissan e-POWER Technology
Unlike a conventional hybrid system, Nissan e-POWER drives the wheels using electric motors. The petrol engine is used to generate electricity, meaning there is no need to plug the vehicle in to recharge.

The X-TRAIL Ti e-POWER also features e-Pedal Step, which allows the driver to accelerate and decelerate using the accelerator pedal at speeds above 10km/h, with the brake pedal remaining available for harder braking or bringing the vehicle to a complete stop.

With e-4ORCE electric all-wheel-drive, the X-TRAIL Ti e-POWER uses electric-drive four-wheel-control technology to provide control across different driving conditions.
